First let’s talk about the benefits and pros of the front loading washing machine

  1. The appearance. Overall it looks nicer to a lot of people VS your traditional top loading washer
  2. It is a lot easier for people to throw laundry in a front loading washer than reaching over and above
  3. It’s a lot easier to take your wet laundry out from the front vs the over the top when it is wet, heavy and awkward.
  4. Most of the front loading washers allow you to stack the dryer on top of the washer with a simple kit. This is a huge space saver

Some people thing their are not a lot of cons when it comes to a front loading washer but here are the cons we can think of.

  1. Typically the front loading washers take a lot longer for the load to be completed on a normal cycle.
  2. Although most washers are not very expensive now, front loading washing machines are usually more money than the top loading washing machines.
  3. Front loading washing machines are a lot heavier, if you are buying one be sure to have it delivered to your house. When putting your washer in place be sure to have some assistance from friends or family to help you move it into the right place. Having a heavy duty wheel dolly handy wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
  4. Another thing we noticed is with front loading washers, you need to add the perfect amount of detergent. If you accidentally add more, this could lead to an inefficient wash.
